Three Months Over!

I finally reached twelve weeks. It was a milestone but in all fairness, has flown by.

I had my twelve week scan yesterday as was measuring exactly right for my dates - 12 weeks 5 days.

It was just Simon and I at the scan this time and he was suprised how big our baby looked.

During the scan, the Sonographer was trying to get Baby to move... but it was having none of it, sleepyhead. Or just lazy, like it's Daddy!

It was measuring 65mm, at nine weeks, the little one was only 23mm!

I don't feel much different, still exhausted. Sickness isn't so bad, but hasn't been a nightmare at all really... Just occasionally sick if I haven't eaten. I have a bad cold at the moment, with a hacking cough and burning throat, so sure that's not helping!

Not much else to report :)

I haven't updated for a few days.

I'm 10 weeks, 2 days and had not heard from the Midwife, despite leaving four messages on the answerphone at the Midwife's office at my GP Surgery over a period of three weeks.

I decided to call them again, and finally someone answered. My Midwife is called Lisa apparently and she'll call me sometime today.

The Midwife that answered seemed lovely - I hope mine is too!

I received a package today. My Mum's cousin had their third boy seven weeeks ago and I've been sent loads of nappies, newborn babygro's etc.. I'm so excited, despite feeling pretty rough today.

I've been lucky and not had morning sickness too badly. I've only occasionally been physically sick, but it seems to be more prominent today. Maybe I'll follow my Mum's footsteps and it all starts in the second trimester...

...I hope not.

Also, a friend of mine has just found out she's pregnant - I'm so happy for her. Like me, she is high risk, however she has PCOS, not Endometriosis but we're keeping fingers crossed for a safe pregnancy.

Not much else to report :)

Good News.

Hello!

Good news from the scan today. Peanut was jumping around in it's little bubble - especially when I coughed or laughed... It was amazing to see him/her.

As for how far I am, I was pretty sure I was around 8w 5d (hence last post!) but in actual fact Peanut is measuring 9w 1d, 23mm - which makes my due date around 20th May. A Taurus baby, not a Gemini!

I'm going to head to the doctor's tomorrow as I have a probable water infection, which is the likely cause of the acheyness etc.

I do still have a bleed in my uterus, that was seen at my first ever scan and therefore have been told I may well bleed occasionally and that it is really nothing to worry about.

The relief is immense.

I have such great family and friends who are supporting me. Simon is being great too.

I will post scan photo's, once I work out how to!

8 weeks 5 days, or there abouts...

Okay, my first entry.

I decided to leave it until now, mainly because I've not really been able to describe how I feel.

I've not felt particularly pregnant really. Morning Sickness is extremely mild and the only other symptom really is tiredness, which most of you will know I suffer from non-pregnant.

I have had very tender boobs, but it seems to have settled a little.

So, a little update from previous weeks, I had a scan at 5w 3d due to an even earlier scan showing nothing in my uterus apart from a bleed - this caused concern and I was told I had a possible ectopic pregnancy. I had to wait ten days for another scan - and there was little Peanut, measuring two millimetres, with a heartbeat flickering away.

This brings us swiftly to now, as not much has really happened between!

I have had some bleeding and am feeling very achey, so the EPAC Nurse has managed to squeeze me in for another scan today at 2:15pm.

I'm very anxious, but also feeling a little positive. Hopeful?

Simon and my Mum will be present at this scan as they both were at the 5 week one.

I'm hoping I'll have another photo to bring home :)

I'll update when I'm back from the scan.
